Price Can Be Confusing! We select every fabric based upon quality of the fabric, it’s presentation qualities as well as it’s maintenance qualities.  Every fabric must look good, present well and maintain a quality appearance for many, many  years. When we prepare a quotation for you, we consider the presentation that you are seeking - the finished product.  “Just how your curtains  will look when you, your customers or your  friends are  admiring them”.

Yes, price of course is an important factor in any purchase and we all like to stay within the budget however the price is soon forgotten if your curtains look very ordinary.

 

Fullness? When comparing prices, perhaps a cheaper quote may be calculated at a lesser fullness.

Lesser fullness = a lower price! This means that the quantity of fabric used to manufacture your curtains is far less. A Cheaper price by cutting back on the amount of fabric used.

 

The fullness of your curtains can be extremely important

factor as to how your curtains will look for many years to come.

 

Quality of Fabrics. Sometimes, a quote is not what it seems to be. Similar fabrics are not the same. Two fabrics may look similar however the quality may differ substantially. This can mean a big difference in cost price, your quote and the quality of your finished job.

 

Suede backed fabrics? When choosing suede backed curtains, things to check for are - The quality of base cloth, Is it a one, two or three pass.  One pass will still allow light to come through where a two and three pass will not allow light to come through. The room will be quite dark.

 

We recommend polyester blend curtains with detachable linings so your curtains

will look and fall softer giving a more luxurious appearance.

 

Also, polyester blend curtains with detachable linings are much easier to clean. Simply throw them in the washing machine (after you take the hooks out), wash, spin and hang them back on the window immediately. “No Ironing is Required”

 

Track Prices?  This is another area where quotes can sometimes differ “quite a lot”.  Track prices vary considerably depending on quality. We use proven quality tracks and components as well as experienced trades people to install your curtains to ensure long lasting presentation & operation of your  tracks and curtains.

The Final Price is always dependant on the quality of fabric used, the fullness of the curtains and the quality of the tracks as well as the final presentation.  If your “other quote” differs substantially from ours, then there is probably a very good “quality” reason for it.

 

Yes, we can probably match any price however we will have to also look at “quality” as explained earlier in this brochure. If you have a cheaper quote, please refer it to us and we will work with you to provide the highest possible quality products to suit your budget.
